FRAUD ALERT: Beware of
Fake City of Spokane Permit Invoices
The City of Spokane has
received reports of fraudulent emails requesting permit, planning, and development-related
payments. The City will never request
payment through emailed wire transfer instructions. If you receive a suspicious payment request, please contact Development Services Center immediately before making any payment.
Due to ICC training Building and Plumbing Inspectors will not be performing inspections on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and Electrical or Mechanical Inspectors will not be performing inspections on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Permit Center (In-Person) Office Hours are:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 8am to 5pm
Wednesdays: 11am to 5pm
(Morning hours are being utilized to provide time for staff to complete plan reviews, creating the ability for projects to begin more quickly.)
